Oatlands Park Hotel was built in 1836 and is a 4star hotel set in 10acres of parkland in a semi residential area, literally just 2miles from the M25.  It couldn’t be easier to get to or find.

This Grade II listed hotel stands on the original site of a royal Tudor palace built by Henry VIII with views over Broadwater Lake and the Surrey hills.  More recently, in fact over the past 4 years, the hotel has undergone a £15m refurbishment by its current owners.

The renovations are obvious from the minute you walk through the door into the hotel’s lobby, lounge, and bar area which has been beautifully decorated.

What to do

What to do

Oatlands Park Hotel does not have a gym or pool, but it does offer treatments and running routes in the grounds.

Locally you have Mercedes Benz World for driving experiences, or purely to go and look around (there’s plenty to see), Brooklands Museum and Hampton Court Palace.

By the way, all three of those named above can also double as off-site gala dinner options when twinned with the hotel.

Activity-wise the hotel tends to recommend GOTO events who can offer a whole host of team building events both in the hotel and within the grounds.  Motorised activities and clays are not permitted but everything else is go, go, go.
