Assembly Room

Heckfield Place is tamed but gently wild.  Probably the perfect description for this beautiful hotel, set in 400+ acres of garden, woodland and farm grounds in Heckfield, Hampshire.

There are a total of 44 guest rooms in the main house ranging from Friends, Guest, Chamber, Master, and Signature Rooms and a two bedroomed cottage in the grounds.

The hotel’s largest meeting room is the Assembly Room.  The room is divisible, the front half of the room leaving floor to ceiling natural daylight flooding into the space, ideal for meetings, the rear section ideal for refreshment and lunch service.

For larger meetings the Assembly Room, maximum 120 for a seated dinner, can remain open and the adjacent Card Room available for registration, refreshment service or pre-dinner drinks.

The Sun House, located in the walled garden, is ideal for events of up to 30 guests.

The Long Room is a private, one bedroom’d apartment located in a secluded location within the main house.  It boasts a fully fitted kitchen, balcony, private terrace, dining and lounge areas with working fireplaces.  The dining room seats 10 guests.

Group dining options include a maximum of 12 guests on one table in Marle, one of the hotel’s restaurants.  Hearth, the hotel’s second restaurant, can be taken on a exclusive use basis for a minimum spend. 

The Dining Room, a private function room is ideal for a maximum of 34 guests.

Biodynamic farming practises, sustainability and holistic practises run throughout the hotel and are at the heart of this venue’s ethos.  More information on the hotel’s regenerative policies can be found here.

The hotel also hosts ticketed speaker events, guided walks in the grounds and film showings in the cinema complete with drinks and snacks from the Cellar Bar brought to your seat.

Meetings and events are costed based on room hire and catering costs so you can tailor your event requirements to suit.
